Ana Moltó-Vigon

Don’t judge a man until you have walked 2 moons in his moccasins.”

- American Indian proverb

Talking about my work is rather intricate. It comes from my spirit and it brings me happiness. It talks to me and gives back the love I give to it. It is the fulfilment of my life.

Sculptures and pots come from the land inside me,

the sea shore, the moon and its melancholic voice.
They are a poem with no words.
A silence that brings you peace.
It is Africa with no wars.
It is people looking up to reality,
to hope,
to the sky,
to infinity,
to the marvellous universe we live in.
They are a poem about life.
You might be thinking to yourself “why?”
That is a good question because it has no answer.

Art is life.

However my work also relates to my interaction with people, I could not live without them. Having connections between each other, philosophising about life, imagining crazy unreal facts, wishing to fly, laughing. All my experiences with different kinds of human beings feed into my sculptures and pots.
