My
sculptural pots are a celebration of my happy childhood memories. I was
born in Seoul, Korea on July 4th 1979. My family and I first came to live
in England when I was five years old. My greatest childhood memories are
of this particular time in my life. It is these memories that have been
used as a tool to create my ceramic pieces. My pots are playful, cute and
girly in nature and they explore both my happy and sad childhood. I am greatly
inspired by children's illustrated books and animations especially classic
fairytale stories such as Sleeping Beauty and Snow white and the Seven Dwarves.
I would like my work to bring a smile to people's faces and to show that
they are having a good time!
