Food and drink can be a sensual experience. I aspire to make luxurious utilitarian items that will be satisfying to use and hopefully heighten this pleasurable sensation.

I use porcelain to create my thrown tableware as i feel this luscious material helps to accentuate the soft , fluid qualities that i aspire to . I aim to capture a sense of rhythm and energy in the finished work by leaving strong throwing rings which produces an undulating surface for tactile play when the object is in use .
